Work is back on the go, but some jobs remain closed.
A total of 1,037 people have been hired in the tourism and hospitality industries this year, up from 1,032 in the year to March.
Job hunting is the most common way people search for work.
It’s not just a job hunt.
Employment minister, Eoin Collins, said people are looking for work, but there are a few caveats to it.
“We have been in contact with the sector, and we will continue to work with them to see how we can help them, and what additional measures are required.”
If there is an industry that is not working as it should, that needs more investment, then we will look at those.
“People are going to need to get up and get going and make sure they have the skills they need to do their jobs.”
People looking for a new job can get one on the website jobsearch.ie or in the Dublin Airport’s central offices, where they can search for a range of jobs.
Jobseekers can also register on the Employers’ Network website and get job alerts on their mobile devices.
It is not a free-for-all.
There is no guarantee of a job, but a good number of vacancies are being advertised on the site.
Some of the vacancies have been advertised since the beginning of the year, and some have already closed.
But the job search site is being updated, and people can sign up to be notified if vacancies are opened.
Some people are going through the same process, including parents looking for an older sibling, a retired garda looking for the perfect job, a shop assistant looking for someone to look after their children, a care worker looking for some work in the evenings and a student looking for courses.

“We’ve heard people who have been looking for jobs and jobs in Dublin and the capital are closing their applications because they’ve been unable to find a job in Dublin.”
Job hunting was particularly popular with young people, many of whom were unemployed or were looking for casual work.
Young people are more likely to be employed than their parents, and their education levels are higher.
They tend to have lower level of qualifications and are less likely to have paid work experience.
“I know of one person who is looking for temporary work, and she’s not an Irish person, but her parents are,” said Paul Walsh, from Dublin’s Jobcentre.
